Description

This is a large micro (10-15X). The crystals in the first photo span a bit more than 2 mm top-to-bottom. FOV in the other close-up is 4.5 x 5.4 mm.

The faces of the crystals are selectively very lustrous or “pebbly”. The unusual “black” color is allegedly due to (presumably oxidized) pyrite. Supposedly this color is not uncommon at MSH. But I only found it once – on my first trip to the quarry – and never again.

Single item shipping weight (with TN case) 3.7 oz. Above a total shipping weight of 4 oz, there may be a nominal increase in postage.

I have tdone the best I can with the photos.
