Description

Rough white cryolite that looks like ice, with some brown siderite inclusions (which is a typical association for the locality) and pyrite. A classic greenland specimen from the closed (because completely mined) only cryolite mine in the world, which is also the type locality for cryolite.

From old Dr. Krantz stock, comes with lovely antique Dr. F. Krantz pen and ink label dated 1900-1920.
