Gold nugget with minor residual quartz and limonite in the gores.

The Beasley River originates in the Hamersley Range about 40 kilometers northwest of Tom Price (famous for its giant iron ore deposits) in the Pilbara Region, Western Australia. It then flows southwest and joins the Hardey River at the settlement of Cheela Plains. Its length is 132 km.
