Description

An excellent and classic specimen from the famous find of chrysocolla pseudomorphs in the Ray Mine in Pinal Co., Arizona. The original mineral has never been determined, but they are generally believed to be after azurite (or selenite).
A little vug is filled with greenish-blue colored chrysocolla pseudomorphs, reaching a max length of 20 mm. The gossan matrix is also hosting masses of amorphous, deep black tenorite with fatty luster.

Comes with well-known german dealer Ilse A. Wilke label (1970-80s era).
