Description

Pale yellow, dull crystals of walpurgite (pic 1, 2) on a matrix of crystalline quartz. Associated with orange-yellow uranosphaerite (pic 4, 5). Maybe worth an analysis, asselbornite may be present.

Rare mineral, only found at a few localities worldwide, and this is from the type locality of both walpurgite and uranosphaerite "Weißer Hirsch Mine, Neustädtel, Schneeberg, Erzgebirgskreis, Saxony, Germany".

Due to the low mass, no significant radioactivity measured.
