Description

The specimen features lemon-yellow needles and balls of curite, uranophane and zippeite on a crystalline quartz matrix. These minerals are hardly to distinguish by visual id - the specimen maybe worth an analysis.

The label states "Autobahnhang" (motorway slope) as locality, possibly the real origin is material from old mine dumps in the vicinity which are used for construction purposes.

Slightly radioactive due to content of U (appr. 1.8 micro Sv/h within spitting distance).
