Description

This amazing specimen shows different growths of native silver in massive dark grey arsenic: The crystalline layers consist of intergrown dendritic silver 'herringbones' (pic 1), the upper section show snowflake-like, mossy structures (pic 8). Associated with minor dark red pyrargyrite (pic 3). Minor gangue rock is attached (pic 6).
Exact locality: Block 0985, Strecke 922, +120m Sohle.
