Description

Strongly elongated gold crystals in hooked growths on a matrix consisting mainly of earthy, rose-colored erythrite and some (decomposed) blackish skutterudite. According to mindat, the gold contains up to 25% of silver, thus it is gold var electrum. From recent finds - they were first offered in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines (2017), but on the subsequent shows only minor supply could be observed.

A very unusual and special combination from Morocco!
