Description

Madagascar matrix gold specimens are quite scarce on the markets. By personal notice, the diggers are always distrustful to the wholesale buyers and fear to overlook gold inside the rock - thus the specimens are reduced to small pieces. Nuggets are much easier to come by because with nuggets, and the estimation of the gold mass is simple.

Here is a small but beautiful specimen which hosts a high lustrous gold bleb of 3 mm size on light grey, partly iron-staind quartz rock. Accompanied by dark green, acicular epidote.
