Description

Pinkish quartz rock is hosting a brown, limonitic veinlet which feature a larger gold speck visible with the naked eye (pic 1). More gold specks are visible using a loupe, also on the bottom side of the specimen, partly directly in the quartz matrix.

From a quite new prospected locality in Kazakhstan, appr. 20 km NE of Baikonur and 100 W of Dzhezkazgan (personal notice of the seller).
