Description

"Erbsenstein" (pea stone) is an old german synonym for Pisolite, a habit of some carbonates, oxides and hydroxides consisting of small globular concretions, larger than oolites (> 2 mm). Collected in the world famous Carlsbad spas in the 1900-1920s, this material is meanwhile rare and highly sought-after.

The exact locality is: "Thermal springs area, Karlovy Vary, Karlovy Vary Region, Bohemia, Czech Republic". From old Dr. Krantz stock, comes with nice antique label.
