Description

Two pieces of amber var. "ajkite", named after the locality "Csinger Valley (Csingervölgy), Ajka district, Veszprém County, Hungary", as written on the label. The color is a dark brown, showing some bright inner reflections from orange to red, comparably to fire opal (more intensive than on the pictures).

Comes with very beautiful old Dr. F. Krantz label  written 1892-1900.
Ajkite = amber, Dana 6th, 1008 (1892).
The size of the second piece (pics 6-9) is 2.2 x 2.4 x 0.8 cm.
