Typical specimen featuring botryoidal hemimorphite lining vugs in the matrix rock. The color is greyish-blue.

Comes with beautiful old label from the former collection of metallurgical plant director Dr. O. Schmidt, Bergisch-Gladbach, Germany. He deaceased 1923 or 1924, the collection (appr. 1200 specimens) was sold to the city of Bergisch-Gladbach in 1925, used as teaching resources in a secondary school then.

Unfortunately no exact locality is given. One has to keep in mind that hungary (resp the austro-hungarian empire) before WW I means also parts of the areas of modern austria, romania, slovakia, czech republic, poland, ukraine, bosnia, croatia and slovenia. Most commonly associated with "hungary" at that time is the middle and eastern part of the empire: This is the area of modern hungary itself, modern slovakia and parts of modern romania, so the type locality "Băiţa mining district, Nucet, Bihor, Romania" maybe a good candidate.
