Description

A hexagonal single beryl crystal without terminations in light green color, with many brownish inclusions.

Comes with beautiful old Dr. Krantz label dated around 1900 and on-glued sticker plus corresponding number (as usual here with 4-digit numbers, only the last 3 digits match). It was originally a specimen of the A. A. Damour collection; his personal mineral collection was sold to F. Krantz (who was in charge of the Krantz mineral dealership between 1891 and 1926), probably shortly after his death.
Damour was sufficiently famous that Krantz had special labels printed identifying the specimens from the Damour collection without original label supplied.
