Description

A very rich and colorful specimen of the rare lead-copper sulfate linarite from New Mexico, featuring high lustrous, bladed, electric blue linarite crystals up to 5 mm in a vug of appr. 2.5 x 1 cm. Associated with white to transparent quartz crystals, in-grown crystalline galena, an unidentified green mineral (brochantite?) and an unidentified brown mineral (sphalerite?). Maybe also anglesite and fluorite is present in the matrix.

Old material from the 70's out of a forgotten lot in an old dealer stock in Cologne, Germany. A fine specimen, hard to get nowadays!
