Description

An elongated gold crystal which is apparently spinel twinned with hopper growth. Well-defined and sharp, this is a really nice gold crystal. This sculptural crystal can be displayed from many angles.

This location is one of the few localities worldwide where palladian gold is found. The palladium content is up to 6% (personal notice) and thus the specimen can also be seen as porpezite. Note the silver-grey metallic plaques on the top of the crystal in pic 1.
