Description

Small grains of gold var. electrum enriched in a layer around silvery acanthite.

The Cannon mine is a former Au-Ag mine, it worked veins, veinlets, stockworks, and disseminated mineralization in breccia in sandstone. Production began in the mid 1980's and ceased in 1994. Very few specimens escaped the crushers...

One side is sawn but not polished.
