Specimen consisting of schist rock and quartz, featuring veinlets of bronze-silvery coloradoite and blackish petzite, accompanied by golden chalcopyrite and/or pyrite

The Lake View mines were active during the first two decades of the 20th century before being abandoned. They were never large producers of gold, and were worked by lone prospectors and small groups of men.
