Old-timer from Gelbe Birke mine, Saxony, Germany:
A yellowish scheelite crystal of 1.7 cm size in-grown in skarn matrix rock. The specimen shows the typical fluorescence under SW UV.

A fine 19th century specimen which comes with beautiful antique label in old german Sütterlin script.
The label means: "Scheelit x auf Calcit - Schwarzenberg - Sachsen - Grube Gelbe Birke" (Scheelite xl. on calcite - Schwarzenberg - Saxony - Gelbe Birke mine).
