Description

A very large titanite crystal, crystallized nearly all around, showing olive-brown and green colors. It exhibits the typical twinning (see pic 3).

An important historic specimen which comes with very beautiful hand-written Isaac Walker label, dated 1837! The label means: 'A very large crystal of Siliceo-Calcareous Titanium - Arendahl Norway'.

The left number is the lot number, and the date of the auction is on the right. The 'H' letter is a code for specimens with origin John Henry Heuland collection. The symbols bottom-left are a price code, the 'o' stands for a guinea (a gold coin worth 1 pound 1 shilling) and '.' stands for a penny.
The 'o' symbol is not frequently seen on the Walker labels and indicates a pricey value in the time...

Paypal is NOT accepted within Germany! I will charge a supplement of 2.5% for paypal payments within Germany. Bank transfer / offline payment is without costs and usually also completed within one day.
