A selenite crystal fragment with cleavage faces and "pearly" resp. silky looks and luster.

This is a 19th century classic with label of notorious Charles Ottley Groom-Napier (1839-1894) alias "Prince of Mantua and Montferrat" ("Mus. M&M"). Labels are always quite small and mostly glued on the specimen. As usual, the locality given is not very accurate.
