Description

A sharp, dark red eudialyte crystal which hosts a small mass of light blue sodalite.

Comes in an old test vial with cork stopper and antique F. Krantz pen&ink label dated appr. 1910. Imagine that a trip to greenland was an adventurous, major polar expedition in this period.

A nice and rare historic specimen from a classic locale.
The "Kangerluarsuk Fjord (Kangerdluarssuq Fjord), Ilímaussaq complex, Narsaq, Kujalleq, Greenland" is the type locality for eudialyte.

Weight includes probe glass.
