Description

A massive and heavy piece of schalenblende, consisting of both rough galena and banded zinc ore (galmei, sphalerite) with interesting negative botryoidal structures.

The locality was a little bit difficult to determine, because it is written - in opposite to the mineral name - in Sütterlin script, and the first letter is indeed a "B", not an "L".
There are several "Bleiberg" locations, after consulting an Eifel mountains and Belgium expert and because of the globular structures, Bleiberg mining area in Austria is most likely as exact location.
