Description

Bright orange-red, transparent villiaumite crystals in two little vugs from famous Aris Phonolite quarries; some of world best villiaumite crystals have been found here. Accompanied by white ellingsenite (Aris is the type locality) and tiny black needles of aegirine.

Nice contrast to the grey matrix, good villiaumites are increasingly hard to get.

The backside is sawn.
