Description

Dozens of deep purple fluorite octahedrons (size up to 1.8 cm), isolated and peppered all over the cream white contrasting matrix. The octahedrons are lustrous, with lightly crooked, rounded structures on the faces and very lightly etched/frosted. No damage.

From T&G prospect, Judith Lynn Claim, Pine Canyon deposit, West Burro Mts, Burro Mountains District, Grant County, New Mexico, USA.
Possibly found in ±1985.
