Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Zlatá Idka, Kosice County, Košice Region, Slovakia (Slovak Republic)

3 × 5.5 × 2 cm
Description

Lemon-yellow, mm-sized balls of cervantite (a component of "antimony ochre") on crystalline stibnite. Comes with nice antique label.
Investigation of the location was a little bit difficult. "Ober Ungarn" (Upper Hungary) means a region in hungary before World War I but today in Slovakia. Aranidka a wrong transliteration for Arany Idka (hungarian), and this means todays Zlatá Idka, Košice Co. in slowak language. A rare classic!
