Description

Tongbei is known almost exclusively for its spessartine-on-smoky combination - but rarely, it produces fluorites too. Here are light green fluorite octahedrons up to 1.6 cm on edge combined with bright orange spessartine garnets, perched on slightly corroded orthoclase matrix. A small mica "package" is also present. This is a very fine combination specimen with many beautiful details from this well-known locale. Weight: 53 grams
