Description

The specimen features red, crystalline eudialyte in feldspar matrix. A rare 19th century specimen with label of notorious Charles Ottley Groom-Napier (1839-1894) alias "Prince of Mantua and Montferrat" ("Mus. M&M"). Comes with antique M&M label and two stickers indicating the minerals.

Imagine that a trip to greenland was an adventurous, major polar expedition in this period - so these Greenland oldies are important historic specimen.
