Description

Titanite from Austria is the best in the world, for the colors and quality of the crystals. Here is a sharp, large crystal of titanite. The form, doubly terminated with textbook faces of twinned habit. The luster, totally reflective on almost all faces. The colors, from deep green to fire red. The clarity, from translucent to gem from area to area. The combination, as expected, with some matrix of albite and with bisolite included. The overall aesthetics, a complete crystal beautiful all around. The piece is almost perfect, with one edge showing a conhoidal surface. Excellent piece!
