Description

This is one of the few representatives of the new species named in honor of professor Katerinopoulos! The specimens are known to have antlerite, brochantite, goslarite, ktansite, epsomite, gypsum, niedermayrite, lazaridisite and voudourisite as paragenesis to the new species! This piece apart from being an important specimen,is also aesthtic, something we normally do not see in microscopic rarities. It's the biggest I have posted so far and it's full of colors! The large matrix is covered by small ram horn gypsum crystals and needs to be examined under a microscope to reveal the rest of the species. Please note that this was a very, very small find, this is historic!
