Kurayly Deposit, Ulytau District, Karaganda Oblast, Kazakhstan
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)

3.6 × 2 × 1.6 cm
Description

Sharp and lustrous, with impressive color, this piece is one of those super rare quartz variety citrine from the only locality that is known to have produced natural crystals of this quality. The crystal is quite gemmy and mostly pristine, with the back been contacted to missing matrix, which is not exactly damage. In any case, it offers many angles of superb display. Please note that many crystals which are usually described as citrine are actually lightly colored smokey quartz. This is genuine citrine.
