Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Pcheloyad Mine, Momchilgrad Obshtina, Kardzhali Province, Bulgaria
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.5 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm
Description

Fine small miniature of a material impossible to find! The find of those extraordinary pyromorphite crystals is over many years ago and since there were a limited number of them it's now so difficult to find one. Those crystals not only have the more uncommon color for the species, not only they are translucent, but they have something unique for crystals of this size. The terminations are flat and sharp unlike almost any other representatives of the species! Same happens with this miniature. The crystals are just razor sharp, not the classic skeletal we see. The biggest is doubly terminated. Now,the piece has damaged crystals, but most specimens had and again this is the most difficult thing to find from the country.
