Description

An exquisite ex Bahmann collection specimen from the old days- this is the most complete three dimensional and aesthetic kutnohorite manganocalcite specimen that I have seen consisting of a two distinctive minerals sharing the same space effectively creating magic. It looks like something to eat- a macaron or mushroom maybe.

A thick band of chatoyant vibrant pink manganocalcite tops off the pale kutnohorite undergrowth, each crystal can be identified in the complex cape consisting of thousand of individual crystal terminations that have flowed over the edges of the main structure buried beneath it. Hence featuring two distinctive flowing lines along the periphery right the way around the entire circumference. For good measure a single typical kutnohorite/manganocalcite spray is imbedded head first into the dome like exterior.

The condition is damage free.

The specimen glows hot pink under shrtowave UV.
