Description

An old time specimen- I have personally never seen black ettringite crystals before yet the old KMF collection that I recently acquired contained many other rarities too that were a first for me also.

Consisting of at least 12 individual crystal the aesthetic group contains a 4.2cm double terminated crystal in the center that extends right the way through from the base to the top. The color is attractive, the crystals are partially gemmy with many natural cleavages.

The crystals at the rear are completely black included by micro manganite crystals- these stand out in good contrast against the otherwise vibrant yellow.

The condition is near perfect with some slight edge wear and attachment related contacts to the rear.
