Description

I received a shipment of material from the DRC a few weeks ago that contained amongst other things a new find of chrysocolla pseudomorphs from the Lupoto mine. Well known for producing find after find of unique chrysocolla psuedomorphs since 2013. After cleaning the material and comparing it to my  stock from all the previous discoveries I can safely say that it is far superior in color and consistency. I have listed six specimens on this auction- one from each of the finds spanning the past four years so that you can judge for yourself.

 

A once off specimen that came in the new find material consisting of a heavy cast like vug filled with chrysocolla psm of type A&B almost completely hidden beneath a rich lustrous green malachite mineralization which is rare.

The psm are distinguishable yet mostly shrouded allowing good visual under a loupe or microscope revealing typical high luster and saturated turquoise color with both microvilli like needle sprays and blocky forms present contrasting with the pale plancheite casts typical for all previous finds.
