An attractive aesthetic floater specimen of contrasting magenta sugilite against brown gossan matrix, notably better than the typical nugget style aggregates that came out which lacked the matrix component. The striking visual effect of this 3.8cm specimen is impressive since the colorful crystallized sugilite has mushroomed bursting out of every fissure swelling further once exposed into rounded globular bundles of intergrowths that exhibit an unusual chatoyant feature.

This rare characteristic is created by what are literally thousands of interwoven gem sugilite fibers. This complex 3-D structure affords you the rare opportunity to study the variation in detail, every surface reveals more detail in 360°.

Upon close inspection you will note that the specimen consist of a massive lump of sugilite that has rock breccia included into its surfaces and appears as the substance that binds everything together tightly.

Undamaged and stable, can be handled without fear of damage.
