Description

A rich mineralization of lustrous silvery wulfenite covers this large pale dolomite and quartz encrusted 10cm dome like matrix structure. Such an unusually high number of crystals is unusual to find- which affords you a rare opportunity to see numerous developmental stages of crystallization. The wulfenite are more robust than what you might typically see in the species from tsumeb with some crystals being symmetrical- equally thick as they are wide, many feature broad tabled faces whilst others are completely bi-pyramidal and all are equally attractive exhibiting high luster and sharp form. 

Many interesting intergrowths exist displaying all manner of variations including twinings of different styles. One half of the matrix is coated by quartz whilst the remainder is dusted over with multi colored micro dolomite.

The significant size provides areas that are undamaged but there are some imperfections in other areas.
