Description

This is the finest descloizite specimen of the translucent variant that I have ever seen, a floater of huge proportions with a distinctive front and back side. The back is more orange-red featuring well defined smaller simple and translucent spearheads developing further into elongated complex aggregated crystals consisting of numerous spearheads.

These complex crystal blades then develop further on the remaining half, broadening out laterally into typical Christmas tree like structures. The upper main display side is fascinating- superior in color and translucence exhibiting amber to orange broad jagged blades that I assume are fully developed with high luster.

The surface area consist of numerous cavernous structures lined solely by descliozite with small openings through which you can peer in and view untold beauty hidden within the protected walls.

The condition is outstanding with minor imperfections all acceptable for such a rare piece.
