This aesthetic white quartz and fluorite specimen comes from the Heini Soltau orange river collection- needless to say it is an extraordinary piece of natural art, this is from a one time find that was made around seven years ago on the south African side of the river in Namaqualand. The specimen consists of a fanned out grouping of mostly double terminated quartz crystals some measuring over 7cm and all inter-grown with similar orientation.

The 3-D cluster offers 360° views and is a treat for your senses, a natural work of art with many superb features prime among them the color and texture variant since this unique quartz has a smooth waxy feel and a red hematite tinting beneath the white, obviously a red phantom before it was fully crystallized.

Exhibiting a unique satin sheen instead of a typical quartz luster yet all the crystal faces have the ability to reflect light well creating endless sparkle as you rotate the piece around in your hands. In addition there are many unusually colored yellow and blue cubic fluorite crystals scattered across the front display face of the complex specimen. The isolated placement of these fluorite crystals is very attractive and I find this to be the  finest specimens of its sort that came out of the collection.

This specimen is in a superb condition the only imperfection being an attachment contact at the base and one smaller along an upper edge.
