Description

A more aesthetic orange river quartz cluster is unimaginable once you have seen this specimen in person, rich in color the unique inclusions are far from ordinary hence it found its home in the Heini Soltau orange river collection. What amazes is the natural selection that caused the three major crystals to form so disproportionally larger than the rest of them that now seem trivial now but this is the striking feature that lends to superior eye catching aesthetics.

Then there is off coarse the details in the mineralogy- multi stages of crystallization evident within the quartz, immediately recognizable is the amethyst included primary stage quartz hidden beneath the red phantoms and easily discernible through the uniquely placed windows in two faces of the larger crystals that reveal what is locked beneath the hematite veil. The phantoms themselves are extraordinary under close examination set deep beneath the third stage mineralization water clear quartz layer. The most fascinating feature though is that the smallest quartz crystals exhibit the very same features as the largest crystals.

The condition is superb with only the slightest flea bites that are really hardly noticeable in the larger crystals.
