Description

Superb glossy calcite displaying multifaceted crystals set on a conglomerate gangue. In this classic locality in the Pyrenees foreland, some large calcite crystals fill the voids created by dissolution of dolomite pebbles. I stabilized the gangue to ensure the durability of this fine specimen over time.

Not a single damage, which is very appreciable as these specimens date back to the 1990's and most of them bear some chips or cleavages.
