Description

Tsumeb Mine, Otavi Highlands, Namibia

2.7 × 1.8 × 1.6 cm
Largest Crystal:
1.50cm
Description

A very rare pseudomorph (according to G. Gebhard) of white dolomite after wulfenite associated with small, light yellow crystals of mimetite. This is in fact a bona fide pseudomorph and not just a simple coating, one can clearly see this where the periphery crystals are broken in half.

Really rare stuff when you think about it.
