Description

Beyond doubt one of the most prolific Italian localities, this deep adit of the Arsiccio mining complex keeps on yielding mineral treasures. A recent find has uncovered exceptional Tl-rich veins, with macroscopic assemblages of rare species. This oversize slab of baryte-sulfide ore is host to the typical red phases (mixed routhierite and arsiccioite) and the black ones (chabournéite and protochabournéite), all very rare or type-locality species.
