Description

Amazing combination!

Beautiful stacked marcasite crystals which are the pseudomorph after pyrrhotite. The sheets are sparkled with tiny pyrite crystals. There are beautiful pale pink rhodochrosite aggregates scattered all over the specimen and partially covered by tiny, metallic boulangerite needles. A large, glossy black sphalerite crystal (measuring over 2.7 cm)  is a very nice accent. The whole is on a massive matrix which is a mixture of marcasite, sphalerite and chalcopyrite.

Old classic specimen from the famous Trepča mine, Kosovo.
