Description

Polished slab of a schalenblende coming from "Pomorzany" zinc mine in Olkusz, Poland. The schalenblende consists of alternating bands of brown-yellow sphalerite, brunckite and wurtzite, silver and lustrous galena and marcasite. Sphalerite is fluorescent in UV light.
