Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
9.5 × 4.5 × 1.3 cm
Description

A very pretty and interesting specimen with white calcite crystals sprinkled with irridescent pyrite crystals, some of which have been covered with a secondary mass of rounded creamy coloured banded calcite. This probably formed in much the same way as a stalactite, from calcium rich ground waters.

A really delightful display sized specimen with no damage.
