Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

Description

A rare locality specimen from this small tungsten deposit that operated between 1914 & 1955. This specimen came from a box of 'rocks' from the estate of a recently deceased old prospector. Features large flat metallic cleavage faces of bismuth on the main display side and is associated with some minor quartz.

Neat old hand written ink label on the back of the specimen noting the underground level it came from, something rarely recorded on Australian specimens. Some scratches are present on this side as seen in the photo. Otherwise in very good condition.
