Lovely old time 19th century specimen with deep typical green botryoidal surface. It was this early material that was cut and polished into beautiful gems and ornaments. It is now difficult to obtain specimens of good quality,

The Burra Mine was originally worked between 1845 & 1877 and is one of the earliest mining towns in Australia. This piece has good aesthetic appeal and has no damage.
