Description

This very rare copper arsenate occurs here as pale blue micro crystals and also massive, associated with lime green conichalcite on one face of the matrix.  Domerockite was IMA approved as a new species in 2009. A microscope is recommended for viewing these minerals.

The Dome Rock Mine is the type and only locality for domerockite to date. It has been incorporated into a nature reserve for the protection of rare bird species but permission to collect here is limited
