Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Broken Hill, New South Wales, Australia
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
4.9 × 2.8 × 2.3 cm
Largest Crystal:
3.50cm
Description

A large brown to green fluorapatite crystal sits nicely on a matrix of massive white fluorapophyllite. The termination face is probably a cleavage plane but I'm not certain and the top edge has a large chip out, but it is a good example of a crystal this size from Broken Hill.
